Formula One Racing in Dubai

This part of Dubailand will have five specific areas all dedicated to the world of sport. If your an avid sports fan then there will be no better place on earth to visit than Dubailand.

Dubai Golf City

This part of Dubailand will house an amazing 5 new themed signature golf courses all designed by top class pro's .

This will be a golfer's paradise enabling even the most experienced golfer to enjoy the best courses in the world.

The area will also have a golf academy that will teach even the youngest to swing a club!! And maybe produce the next Tiger Woods.

Within Golf City there will also be a golf community to ensure the golf enthusiast can live,sleep and eat GOLF!!

Add to the golf courses a major shopping complex and a luxury 6 star hotel, Dubai Golf city will become one of sports major attractions.

Dubai Sports City

This part of Dubailand will cover over 50 million sqft and will incorporate Dubai's premier sporting venues. There will be a 60,000 capacity multipurpose stadium aimed at major football internationals, along with a 30,000 capacity additional stadium for smaller games, add to this a 25,000 capacity cricket stadium and a 10,000 capacity indoor multipurpose stadium then you can see that Dubai Sport City offers every possible amenity.

There will also be a school of golf which will be part of The Butch Harmon Association. For those of you who enjoy tennis David Lloyd will be opening a major tennis academy, along with a global cricket academy run by the ICC.

Ernie Els has designed a championship golf course which will house top class golfing competitions.

The worlds most successful and glamorous football club Manchester United will be opening a soccer school dedicated to providing top class facilities for up and coming stars of the future. Manchester United will also visit Sport City every year to ensure the academy is supported fully by the football club.

Just when you think it cannot get any better Dubailand will be building a shopping mall based purely on sports, a true sports fanatics heaven.

Dubai Lifestyle City

This part of Dubailand will house the very first world class IMG Sports academy which will have all the major sporting facilities you would expect from a world class agency.

In this area there will also be a premium retail shopping mall in an area called Sports Walk, which will promote sports and wellness products. There will also be a golf and tennis academy along with an aquatic centre showing fish from all over the world. For those true sports enthusiasts there will be a luxury 5* Hotel and Spa which will be sports themed. The idea is to stay in specific sport related bedrooms.

Should you decide that 5* is not enough then why not try the exclusive boutique 7* Hotel with its own luxury state of the art spa. This is the ultimate luxury hotel.

Plantation Equestrion & Polo Club

This part of Dubailand will have a Polo & Equestrian Club which will meet international standards and hold world wide events that will be screened all over the world. There will be a specific Polo Academy and 3 additional polo fields. Add to that an indoor Equestrian Centre with over 800 stables and a specialist veterinary hospital for horses.

There will also be a luxury 5* Hotel & Spa which will cater for tourists and competitors alike.

Motor City

Dubailand will offer motor sports fans worldwide the best and most exclusive race and driving facilities in the world. The project will consist of the Dubai Autodrome, which is FIA sanctioned and covers 5.39km offering 6 different configurations. This is one of the best racing circuits in the world.

There is also a race and driving school enabling those of you who think you are the next Schumacher to challenge the track and see if your dreams can come true. Attached to the Autodrome is a CIK approved Karting track, again this track is open to those of you who want to challenge the small machines that can do in excess of 70mph!!!

Incorporated in this part of Dubailand there will also be Formula One theme park, which will offer state of the art rides and live racing demonstrations. When you get tired of flying around the track there are plenty of restaurants and a shopping mall with all major retailers and an auto based section as well.

For those of you who may not feel up to racing around the tracks there is also a new interactive museum which covers all aspects of motoring.
