Residency in Dubai
If you decide to mov
e to the UAE you will need a residents visa if you are not a GCC national. You will be able to obtain all the necessary information regarding a Visa application from your local foreign embassy.
If your company has arranged for you to work in the UAE then they should have already sent your visa application direct to the airport where you arrive, whereupon your passport will be stamped with a residents visa.
If
you decide to bring your family you will need to apply for a seperate visa known as the family resident visa, this allows you to bring your spouse, children and both sets of parents with you. To obtain a family residents visa you must be able to declare a salary in excess of 4000 dirhams per month.
If you do not have a job and are looking to relocate or look for a job then you will be entering the UAE on a visit visa, and once you have made the decision in relation to living or working in the country you can apply to transfer to a residents visa, again your local foreign embassy will assist you with these matters.
